		<description>We use it naturally in our body as an antioxidant.  My guess is that it reduces molecules responsible for pigmentation, and this causes their pigment to fade.  Bleach does this in the opposite sense:  It oxidizes &quot;dirt&quot; colored molecules to make things white.</description>
